Arie Stehouwer<\/p><\/div>\n
It was with a sense of sadness earlier this year that the WPO were informed that a founding father of the World Ploughing Organization passed away on 3<\/span>rd<\/span> January at the age of 96.<\/span><\/p>\n Arie served as the Netherlands Board Member since the founding of the WPO until 1991 during which time he held many roles including Head Steward, <\/span>Vice Chairman and Chairman for 20 years between 1972 and 1991.<\/span><\/p>\n Arie was made an Honorary Board member of the WPO in 1991. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Remembering Arie Stehouwer 13.02.1924 \u2013 03.01.2021 It was with a sense of sadness earlier this year that the WPO were informed that a founding father of the World Ploughing Organization passed away on 3rd January at the age of 96…. \n<\/span>He will be remembered by many as an excellent Chairman, a great communicator, <\/span>a very gentle man and someone who served the WPO with huge dedication. <\/span>Our condolences to the Stehouwer family and members of the Netherlands Ploughing Organization.<\/p>\n
