Kuldiga is a town located in the centre of the Western part of Latvia, 150km from the main airport of Riga, 60km from the port of Ventspils and 90km from the port of Liepaja.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tractors and other equipment can be transported to the marshalling yard from July onwards \u2013 there will be no security onsite until 2<\/span>nd<\/span> October. Address for marshalling yard is: Deksnes iela 9, Deksne, Padres pagasts, Kuldigas novads, LV3321, Latvia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The official programme begins on 7<\/span>th<\/span> October and ends on 15<\/span>th<\/span> October. Shuttles will be provided for those on the official packages to and from Riga Airport.  The official registration forms for the packages and pre-practice plots are available on the World Ploughing website \u2013 www.worldploughing.org<\/span><\/p>\n

The draw for practice plots will take place on Saturday evening, 7<\/span>th<\/span> October.<\/span><\/p>\n

Official Practice will begin on Monday, 9<\/span>th<\/span> October.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Church Service will take place at the Lutheran Church of St. Ann, Kuldiga on Wednesday, 11<\/span>th<\/span> October.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Official Opening Ceremony will be on Thursday, 12<\/span>th<\/span> October at 16.00 at the event site.<\/span><\/p>\n

World Ploughing Stubble Contest will take place on Friday, 13<\/span>th<\/span> October and the World Grass Contest will take place on Saturday, 14<\/span>th<\/span> October.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gala Dinner and Awards will take place on the evening of Saturday, 14<\/span>th<\/span> October.<\/span><\/p>\n
